Research on coal pillar layout of inclined successive and sufficient pressure-relief in protected coal seam and recovery

Abstract: Abstract: The research in this paper was conducted aimed at realizing coal pillar layout and recovery technology in protected coal seam which is inclined sufficient and successive pressure-relief. For the present situation on gob-side entry retaining technology which mine thick seam as protective seam and pillar layout, the method adopted catastrophe theory is proposed that is served in coal pillar layout to mine protective coal seam. At first, abrupt change and instability may happen in the coal pillar when plastic zone exceed 88% of range in the internal coal pillar by theoretical analysis and computational methods of coal pillar layout size can be deduced. On this basis, recovery technology is proposed according to coal pillar steady time and pressure-relief effect is analysised. Finally, combined with the practical engineering condition, the coal pillar layout and recovery technology parameter are dealt with and inclined successive and sufficient pressure-relief in protected seam can be realized on the premise of decrease in coal pillar size.
